On top of using coupons, you can also save money using rebate apps on your smartphone. You basically snap a picture of the UPC and a picture of your receipt and earn money back. Easy! It’s important to remember that the only way you are going to save money is if you are buying products that you would normally buy. 😉 Here are some of my favorites (some referral links included):
Ibotta is a store-specific app (meaning certain offers are available for certain stores). I usually find offers I can use for Target, Sam’s Club, and Walmart.
SavingStar is an app like Ibotta, giving you money back for specific purchases. Every week they offer a 20% rebate on a specific fruit or vegetable. Every once in awhile you can get free products. I’ve used it for purchases at CVS, Target, Sam’s Club, and Walmart.
Find&Save is an app that you download on your phone. You get cashback for submitting receipts from area stores.
Yet another app that offers cashback for specific purchases. This app is not store specific, and the amount is instantly added to your Paypal account once it has been processed.
Ebates is a cash-back shopping portal. You get a $10 gift card just by joining. If you are shopping online anyway, check to see if Ebates is affiliated with that retailer. You will automatically earn a certain percentage back. They will mail a check to you once your earnings rack up. I always check Ebates before I place an order online.
iConsumer is a new cash-back company with a twist. On top of earning cash back when you shop online, you also earn shares in their company.
